NWHS PTSO STAFF GRANTS
We are pleased to announce that our 2020-2021 Staff Grant program is now open!
All requests will be considered on a first-come first-served basis until we have allocated 100% of available funds.
To be eligible for a Staff Grant, you must be a current member of the NWHS PTSO. If you have not yet joined, please click here.
You may apply on behalf of yourself, your department, committee, or a club without a booster program. If a request is made on behalf of an entire department, all teachers on the team must be current PTSO members.
Staff grants may be used for:
Professional development and non-consumable teaching aids or equipment not otherwise provided by the county or school
Special projects that benefit staff, students, and/or school
Club or program fees, supplies, or equipment without another funding source
Our committee will review requests in a timely manner and respond with a funding decision within 2 weeks.

NWHS PTSO STAFF STIPENDS
Due to the tremendous success of our Viking Voyage fundraiser, we are pleased to offer a new "Staff Stipend" program this year!
You are eligible if you joined the PTSO by the October 6 deadline.
We will reimburse purchases up to $50 for unexpected (or expected!) expenses for your virtual or physical classroom, online resources, special projects, incentives for students, etc. Items must be school or classroom related
Please hold all receipts and submit one Check Request Form once your spending is complete
Please purchase any non-related, personal items in a separate transaction. Your stipend purchases should be on their own receipts
You are welcome to merge your stipend with other staff PTSO members, contingent upon their own membership
Please fill out the attached Check Request Form completely and submit with original receipts/invoices. Be sure to explain what your purchases are being used for
You may turn in your Form and receipts to the front office or place in the "Miscellaneous" section of our red folder in the front office copy room
Your reimbursement check will be placed in your individual mail slot at the school. If you need us to mail it to you, please indicate on the Form
The deadline to submit for reimbursement of these funds is March 31, 2021
Please note that we cannot guarantee we will be able to offer this program every year. We will re-evaluate annually based on our fall fundraising efforts.
