Apply to join the 2023-2024 Student Delegation!
The 25 Student Delegation is a PTA Sponsored student organization where students will have the opportunity to work closely with the PTA to plan, organize, participate in and implement community/service learning projects and student centered events and programs at Northwest Guilford High School. This program gives students the opportunity to have a voice and to be heard.
We will have our first meeting in July 2023. Delegates will have the opportunity to earn up to 100 service learning hours during the 2023-2024 school year. Students are required to attend and participate in 75% of meetings and activities to remain a student delegate. Attendance and participation will be evaluated twice a year, in October & February.
Change For Change
for United Way of Greater Greensboro
Do you want to be the best class? Prove your superiority over the other grades in our campaign! United Way Campaign is partnering with the PTSO Student Delegates at Northwest to give back to the community! Raise school spirit and help people elevate families out of poverty by donating “change for change”.
We will have 4 jugs out in the front commons for each grade level during ALL lunches where you will be competing against each grade level. The grade level that collects the most money will win a special prize! The campaign will officially commence on Monday, November 21 and go every school day through Friday, December 2. Help us improve the lives of others and show that your class is the best!
Toy Collection
for Brenner's Children's Hospital
In partnership with United Youth of Excellence, we are collecting NEW books, board games, Uno Cards, and dolls for children at Brenner's Hospital. (Book donations must be new due to Covid policies.) We have set up decorated boxes around the school to get Northwest student involved in the fun! Please bring in your donations by Monday 11/21!
